Slice of natural agate from Brazil, on an elegant black display stand and satin brass. And before being this stone, it was an air bubble in the cooled lava of a volcano. The lava has become basalt: a porous rock, and this chamber has been successively filled, over millennia, with water with dissolved minerals. The main room is filled with rock crystal, with a strange pattern in white Chalcedony in the middle. Each flood brought different oxides, and therefore a different color...
