Multi-tips white quartz (Brazil)
PUMI2710
Originating from the granite formations of Minas Gerais (Brazil), this multi-point white quartz displays a particularly spectacular mode of crystallisation: several prismatic points rise from a single anchor point, with slightly divergent axes, forming a true architectural structure.
At the centre of the piece stands one large primary crystal, flanked by perfectly geometric secondary points — a rare phenomenon, resulting from extremely stable growth conditions (continuous silica saturation in a hydrothermal environment, without thermal disruption).
The subtle milky veil, typical of “milky” quartz, is caused by micro-gas inclusions formed during growth, giving the surface a diffuse, almost luminous appearance.
Mounted on a bespoke black oak base, this 10.8 kg specimen is both an exceptional mineralogical piece and a natural sculpture : a perfect illustration of the balance between geological precision and aesthetic composition that defines the spirit of Objet de Curiosité.
