Mother of pearl NAUTILUS with SERIATOPORA HYSTRIX coral
PU1062-8
A composition in the spirit of the eighteenth century, made of a pearly Nautilus. This sea shell, the NAUTILUS POMPILIUS, is entirely pearly because it was simply polished, and this beautiful color is the bottom layer of the shell. This Nautile is home to spicky coral (SERIATOPORA HYSTRIX) that seem to have replaced the tentacles of the Nautile. and on its brass base, it will stand out. The smaller one on the fourth picture is a PU1281. Species protected by the Washington Convention.
