This 600 g Uruguay amethyst is a unique and elegant specimen, mounted in a minimalist metal cage, offering a modern contrast to the raw beauty of natural crystals. Originating from the region of Artigas, world-renowned for its deep purple amethysts, this plate comes from geodes formed 130 to 150 million years ago in volcanic cavities. The crystals that make up it are distinguished by their color intensity and a secondary crystallization of white Calcite which deposited some white crystals over the amethyst.
