This geode of Agate from Uruguay has been polished on the outside and this brings out this beautiful blue/grey colour, but the inner colour is not blue but rather glossy white: a quartz deposit has covered the fine crystals inside this geode. A thin layer of extremely bright quartz, which makes this geode very contrasting, on its brass base.
