Its Latin (and English) name is clear: the Octopus has 8 arms. The octopus is this animal with a flexible and soft body, able to change color according to its environment. Only its beak is hard, since it is with this tool that it will feed and even pierce the shells of some seashells. That's why his "home" is often recognized by the many empty shells that are in front of a hole in the rock: the remains of his meals. The largest octopus, the giant Pacific octopus, easily reaches 5 meters wingspan for 50Kg.
