6 Red PAPILIO RUMANZOVIA butterflies
IN117
PAPILIO RUMANZOVIA, also known as the Scarlet Mormon, is a large swallowtail butterfly native to the Philippines. The males display a striking contrast: velvety black forewings and vivid crimson markings on the hindwings. Females show more variable patterns, making this species a fine example of sexual dimorphism within the Papilionidae.
In this composition, six male specimens are arranged symmetrically beneath an oval glass dome.
Assembled in our Lyon workshop, this display can be customised on request: different species, colors, or arrangements.
