The Morpho Menelaus, a veritable jewel of the tropical forests of Central and South America, fascinates with its brilliant metallic blue wings, capable of reflecting light thanks to a unique microscopic structure. This electric, almost supernatural blue contrasts with the more discreet underside of its wings, which are adorned with ocelli resembling bird's eyes, a natural strategy for warding off predators...
