Morgon wine crystallization
PU894-6
This crystallization comes from a natural deposit formed at the walls of an oak cask that once held a biodynamic and organic wine from the Morgon appellation (Beaujolais), 2015.
Over the months, the wine concentrated, aged, and deposited a mineral deposit on the wood: a delicate imprint born from the meeting of grape, oak, and time.
The deposit retains the signature of Morgon’s terroir, whose soils, rich in decomposed schist and manganese, give the wine its depth of color and structure. This plaque translates that essence — not in taste, but in texture.
On the picture with 2 crystals, the other wine is a Moulin à vent. This wine crystallization with astonishing color is a proof that wine is made of all the minerals from the land where it has been growing... And it reallyis a curiosity.
