Sagra beetles variations, in brass circle.
IN126
Far away from the museum insect box, some beetles can be just stunning! This species of frog-leg beetles is called Sagra Fermorata. These concentric circles are made of untouched natural insects, the females in the center with a great variety of colors, from copper tones to dark blue, but always with a metallic sheen, and progressively small males up to the largest specimens of this Malaysian and Thai beetle. The graphic display in between 2 glasses and inside a solid brass circle, make them look just unreal. But they are! And it takes more than a week to achieve that natural chromatic color wheel.
