Medium sand dollar in metal circle
AN052
The Dollar of sand is a curious very fragile member of the family of echinoderms (sea urchins, starfish...) with a flattened and circular shell, decorated with a star. This species is called a "keyhole" and comes from Mexico. It can also look like a tribal mask, with this mouth open.. The Sand Dollar takes its name from the English term Sand Dollar, because of its resemblance to a coin left on the sand. The contrast with the wrought iron stand brings out the delicacy of this skeleton.
