Small sand dollar in metal circle
AN053
Three Laganum Laganum, some small "Sand dollars" from Pacific ocean. The sand Dollar is a curious and fragile member of the family of echinoderms (sea urchins, starfishes) with a flattened and circular shell, decorated with a star. These elegant white circles are the skeletons as they can be found washed up on a beach. The simple wrought iron stand, with a raw finish, highlight the delicate skeleton. The sand dollar takes its name because of its similarity with an large coin lying on the sand.
