Spondylus cluster from a shipwreck

PU1226

Spondyllus sea shells on serrated oysters (lofa) found on a shipwreck in Surabaya Bay. These beautiful orange shells with white peaks grew on two enormous very serrated oysters. This natural block composed of shells that all fed by filtering sea water, has a flat face: it is there that it was attached to the hull of a stranded ship at 30 meters deep.
