Composition of ARCHITECTONICA PERSPECTIVA shells
PU1254-1
Its Latin name says it all: ARCHITECTONICA PERSPECTIVA. This shell presents a perspective worthy of an Hausmanian building staircase. Its conical shell is distinguished by regular concentric rings and a deep central umbilicus, which has earned it the nickname “cathedral shell.”
Seven specimens, displayed with their umbilicus visible, are mounted on brass rods in a symmetrical, axial composition beneath a small glass dome.
This arrangement, crafted in our Lyon workshop, highlights both the conical relief and the geometric repetition of the spirals without artifice.
