Silver pheasant on black base
PU667
It can be seen in the wild in Asia -China, Myanmar, Viet Nam- but since the eighteenth century it is raised in the parks and gardens of the beautiful residences of Europe: the Silver Pheasant (Lophura nycthemera). This male respects perfectly the canons of his species: a black body and wings and tails of a bright white. The bright red face mask shows him here in full seduction phase. The elegance of the small black motifs that line the feathers of the wings, add to the majesty of this bird.
