This unusual presentation for a turtle is an "eclate de Beauchène" under glass globe. Initially it is a magnificent Indian star tortoise from India, Geochelone elegans. Each scale of this beautiful turtle has been separated by a few millimeters from its neighbor. The result is a complete shell, but slightly expanded. It is protected by a globe. A real jewel.
