Michigan specularite
PUMI2252
Specular hematite, sometimes called "specularite" is a highly reflective, "glittery" form that consists of many small flakes of hematite. Micaceus hematite or hematite that forms in thin, stacked sheets resembling mica, is the same thing as specular hematite but is more metamorphosed. Both types can actually classified as hematite schists. It can be found near Champion and Republic (Michigan - US)
