Set of 4 fern in resin

A contemporary herbarium. They will always remain green, despite the heat wave or winter... 4 black easels each holding a fern inclusion in resin. These ferns all grow in Asia, but also on other continents: Starting from the left, the first is a dryopteris sp. found in the undergrowth of mountains, from the Himalayas to the Alps. The second is nicknamed the sword fern, originally from Australia -Nephrolepis auriculata-. The third, still from the left, is the Capillaire de Montpellier -Adiantum capillus- and the fourth is the Dicranopteris dichotoma that grows in southern China. A hyper-absorbent fern since a process has been developed to extract rare earth elements from these ferns: phytoextraction.
