Block of "nippled" Malachite on sliding machine
PUMI2263
This block of "nippled" Malachite -Botryoidal Malachite- comes from the Congo, from the province of Katanga. It has been cut in half and polished to reveal its structure made of agglomerated nodules. Each nodule is made of radiating crystals from the center. The almost psychedelic pattern that appears when you "open" this stone seems to have been painted in 1970 with many shades of green. Intriguing when closed, this mineral becomes fascinating when you slide both halves.
