Brazilian amethyst geode surrounded by agate. black base
PUMI2324
This Brazilian wonder is absolutely natural: an air pocket in the middle of volcanic lava (basalt) successively filled with water loaded with silicates and oxides, due to rain and infiltration. This gave birth to this blue and white Agate all around the heart of the geode. With heat and much time, quartz crystals grew, completely covering the walls of this geode. The oxidation of iron gave this beautiful purple color. This unique geode is at least 300 millions years old and it is rare to discover such wonders.
