Crystal ball from Madagascar, on brass stand

This is the mythical divination object: the crystal ball. But it is above all a natural and transparent rock crystal, but it seems to contain veils of mystery... In fact it is the result of an imperfect mixture of the solution of minerals that compose it (silicon dioxide + selenite, antimonite...) during its growth several million years ago. An imperfect mix, but which constitutes the "garden" of this crystal: its unique signature. Base of Acanthus leaves in solid brass and black marble.
