Huge crystal of Gypsum from France - 28kg

This clear crystal is French and comes from a locality named Caresse ( caress )! It is one of the two largest gypsum crystals found in this mine. The very high transparency of this impressive 1 meter high crystal is the signature of the most beautiful pieces found in this mine. This particular piece was in the collection of one of the miners who worked at that mine. An exceptional mineral that he had decided not to grind, which it was intended for, to make plaster. This mine is no longer accessible, like a growing number of mines around the world. It will therefore remain the largest gypsum crystal of Caresse, forever.
