White aragonite block (Mexico) under rectangular globe
PUMI2365
Aragonite can crystallize in quite spectacular forms. Whether very thin like hair and this is the case in Europe in the cave of Ochtinskà in Slovakia. Or rather like coral, in the cave of Carlsbad, or the mine of Potosi in Mexico where this piece comes from. This crystallization was done in the form of "branches" which were extended with the addition of new crystals just as white and shiny. And this growth took place upside down. Once returned, and protected by a glass globe, this mineral will no longer "grow", but it can remain sparkling forever.
