Landscape Jasper from Morocco on black easel
PUMI2561
This landscape stone, originating from the southern region of Morocco near the Anti-Atlas mountains, is sometimes referred to as “mookaite” due to its colors, although it is distinct from true Australian Mookaite. Its natural patterns, shaped by geological processes, evoke abstract landscapes, reminiscent of the famous paesina from Florence. These designs are the result of complex geological processes, such as tectonic movements and the infiltration of minerals into the rock, giving the impression of a natural scene frozen in stone. Presented on a black stand, it highlights its red, brown, and yellow hues for an artistic and natural touch.
