This agate comes from a Brazilian deposit. This 665 g specimen is distinguished by its thickness. One of its faces has been polished to highlight the different lines formed by the successive deposits of water loaded with oxides (Limonite, kaolin, iron...) that have gradually filled this air pocket in the middle of the cooled lava of a volcano.
Agate is appreciated for its hardness and strength, as well as for its unique patterns formed by successive silica deposits. Often used in decoration or collection, it combines natural aesthetics and solidity.
