An attractive prepared crab from Patagonia, Argentina, with almost no more matrix. A Archeogeryon Patagonicus dating back to Miocene -20 Million years ago- The crab came from an old French collection, at the moment is impossible to get new crabs from Argentina due to an export ban. The speciment is big and nicely prepared, note the free standing claws. Not often seen for sale. A varnish has been added, that's why it looks like freshly out of the water...
