This pyrite is famous for its sun'shape . We found this specimen in the USA, in the Illinois, more exactly in the coal-mines, where it is inlayed in the patches of slates. Prehistoric ferns can also be seen on the same matrix. It has about 250 / 300 million years. By lack of space, this one crystalized in a flat shape instead of the cubic shape it usually take.
