Pink Lepidolite slice in a circular brass stand
PUMI2510
This pink-violin slice is a Brazilian mineral exploited for its lithium content (so car batteries among others). Lépidolite is a variety of Mica, therefore composed of thin layers that stand out quite easily and are even flexible when they are quite thin. Lépidolite can be yellow, transparent, greenish... But in the province of Minas Gerais you can find large tabular crystals (here hexagonal) of this beautiful color. And it is its color that conquered us, and who knows? it could be used to recharge your Tesla one day?
